Below is a list of events happening in Renaissance now and in the near future.

Upcoming Events:

SEPT 29 TUESDAY and OCT 1 THURSDAY, lunchtime in FIC 003: Chat and Chew. We will talk about ethical dilemmas. Please RSVP Carol Friedrich (carol.friedrich@comcast.net) so she reserves a seat for you.

SEPT 30 WEDNESDAY, 12:00 noon in FIC 003 (the Big Room!): Song Circle.  R. I. Members and guests join in singing and dancing along with some well-known pop and folk songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.  Bring your lunch, bring a friend or two, and join in the fun! (First of several Wednesday musical events.)

SEPT 30 WEDNESDAY at 10:00, on Zoom: Winter in the City Committee Kick-off planning meeting.  We welcome new committee members; join the meeting to see if you’d like to participate.  Contact Susan Serotte (nsed7915@comcast.net) to receive the Zoom link.

OCT 1 THURSDAY, 12:15-1:00 in FIC 021: Winter in the City Committee Kick-off planning meeting. Bring your lunch (desserts provided) and check out the committee’s plans and goals for the next WIC.  Contact Committee Chair, Susan Serotte for more information.

OCT 1 THURSDAY: Course Proposal forms for Spring 2027 will be sent out via email, as well as posted on Renmember.com.  Please watch for the email and consider being a part of our Renaissance course program.  We encourage both our veteran and new instructors.

Getting to Know One Another: Please remember to wear your name badge while at RI so that we can become familiar with both your face AND your name!  Our new members have green dots on their badges, so please, everyone, make a special point of greeting them as they navigate their first RI semester.
