Weekly Announcements for the Week of March 3 - 5, 2026  

Below is a list of events happening in Renaissance now and in the near future. 

Upcoming Events: 

MAR 3 TUESDAY at 12:30-1:00 pm in FIC003 and MAR 5 THURSDAY at 12:30-1:00 pm on Zoom plus FIC021: TOWN HALL meetings for members. FYI, a Zoom invite will go out on Wednesday from Page, who will conduct both Town Hall meetings. Jenny will set up FIC021 for those here at RI who would like to attend. The agenda will cover the results of the constituent meetings that the council members conducted last week. 

MAR 10 TUESDAY: PIE DAY, all day in the hall outside of the office. It is our custom to bring pies to commemorate 3.14 which is Saturday this year. Bring Pies and Eat Pies. 

MAR 11 WEDNESDAY at 12:00 noon in FIC003: UKE JAM AND SINGALONG. All ukulele players at any skill level are welcome, and we also need singers to join in. Bring your lunch, bring a friend or two, and join in the fun! 

MAR 18 WEDNESDAY at 2:00 pm, in-person at the Loyola-Notre Dame Library, Ridley Auditorium, and on Zoom: Lecture, Dining in Colonial Maryland. Please see the 2/26 email from Jennifer Heinlein for full details.

Copies of Joyce White’s book, Cooking Maryland’s Way: Voices of A Diverse Cuisine, will also be available for purchase.

SAVE the DATE! Mark your calendars now for the Joyce Dennison Memorial Bus trip to Brandywine Museum on May 14, 2026. Signups will open in April.
