Announcements October 29 and October 31

 Below is a list of events happening in Renaissance now and in the near future.

Upcoming Events:

OCT 30 Wednesday 9AM – 6PM: Power of Age Expo. Timonium Fairgrounds

RI has a booth at the expo, and we are looking for volunteers to staff the booth at different times throughout the day.  If you would like to volunteer some time, please stop by the Kiosk in the office to sign up for a time slot.  It is a great way to promote RI!

 OCT 31 THURSDAY, 12:15 pm in FIC003: RI Halloween Party. Costume parade and awards, Cider and Treats. Wear a costume and join the fun. Bring treats for your RI classmates.

NOV 5 WEDNESDAY, 12:15 in FIC003: Bread and Soup. Bring desserts to share! This is our traditional "Free Lunch.”

NOV 6 WEDNESDAY, 12:00 noon in FIC003: SONG CIRCLE. Renaissance members and guests can join in singing and dancing along with some well-known pop and folk songs from the 60’s and the 70’s. Bring your lunch and bring a friend.

NOV 13 WEDNESDAY, 3:30 in the Loyola-Notre Dame library and on Zoom: The Curriculum Committee invites you to a special lecture by Dr. Linda Rabben entitled “Through a Glass Darkly: The Social History of Stained Glass in Baltimore,” which you’ve heard about from our posters, fliers, and emails. Winter in the City – Please add your event to our growing list of WIC activities, to enrich members’ days after classes end. Check the WIC Quick List page on the RI website – www.renmember.com – to find out which dates are available. Use the other WIC resource pages to get ideas of potential experiences/venues and how to write your catalog description. Deadline to submit events is November 15 – 3 weeks away!
