Announcements November 5 and November 7

Below is a list of events happening in Renaissance now and in the near future.

Upcoming Events:

NOV 5 TUESDAY, 12:15 in FIC003: Bread and Soup. Bring desserts to share! This is our traditional
"Free Lunch.”

NOV 6 WEDNESDAY, 12:00 noon in FIC003: SONG CIRCLE. Renaissance members and guests can join in
singing and dancing along with some well-known pop and folk songs from the 60’s and the 70’s. Bring
your lunch and bring a friend.

NOV 7 THURSDAY, in FIC003: Annual RI Memorial Service, 12:30PM Sharp.

NOV 11 MONDAY, 2:00 pm, in the Villages of Homeland: Barb Rooney is hosting the next RI "Getting to
Know You" group meeting. As usual, there is an abundance of
news. Barb’s apartment is about three blocks from NDMU. For more information, please contact Barb

NOV 12 TUESDAY, Town Hall Meeting On-Campus 12:30PM FIC 003

NOV 13 WEDNESDAY, 12:00 noon in FIC003: BLUEGRASS CONCERT by the “Renaissance Pickers.” Two R. I.
Members are in this band.

NOV 13 WEDNESDAY, 3:30 in the Loyola-Notre Dame Library and on Zoom: The Curriculum Committee
invites you to a special lecture by Dr. Linda Rabben entitled “Through a Glass Darkly: The Social History of Stained Glass in Baltimore,” which you’ve heard about from our posters, fliers, and emails. See your email for details of how to RSVP.

NOV 13 WEDNESDAY, 6:00 in Doyle Hall: Dinner at Doyle. Join your fellow RI after the lecture. Enjoy dinner with other members for only $11.66. Be sure to bring your NDMU ID. See you there.

NOV 15 FRIDAY: Deadline for submitting Winter in the City event descriptions – next Friday!
