Announcements February 4 and February 6

Below is a list of events happening in Renaissance now and in the near future.

Welcome to the Spring Semester at Renaissance. Our first week of classes is now underway.

For members taking classes on campus, please enjoy coffee, tea or water—it can be found in the kitchen across from the RI offices. We ask for a donation of one dollar a day, with refills included (see 
below for more info). There is usually also small array of snacks – donations of baked goods or fruit are always welcome.

FEB 5 WEDNESDAY at 2:00 p.m. on Zoom: Curriculum Committee meeting. An email has gone out to current members with agenda items. If you are interested in joining the Committee, please contact

FEB 11 TUESDAY at 12:15 – 1:00 p.m.: In honor of much-beloved Renaissance member and volunteer Joyce Dennison, we will be renaming the RI Library the Joyce Dennison Memorial Library. The 
dedication, reception, and ribbon-cutting will take place during the lunch break, when we will hang a plaque to mark the occasion. Food donations are welcome.

FEB 11 TUESDAY and 13 THURSDAY: RI Library Book Sale. In conjunction with the Library dedication, we encourage all members to buy books as a fundraiser for RI. The books are 2 for $1.00. We will 
open the book sale to all NDMU affiliates on Thursday, February 13.
If you have book donations (no more than 2 books per member), please drop them off to Traci’s office in FIC 016A.

FEB 12 WEDNESDAY at 5:30 p.m.: RI Dinner at Doyle Hall. Great conversation and all you can eat for $11.66. Bring your NDMU student ID. Campus parking is available. RSVP: dinneratdoyle@gmail.com

FEB 14 FRIDAY, 10:00 a.m. on Zoom: Genealogy Club. Come share family info/stories as well learning about a monthly topic. Special topic for February 14 meeting: "Methods (definition): the means or 
manner of procedure, especially a regular and systematic way of accomplishing something." Send a request to be added to the list to Sue Brooks at brooksaw123@yahoo.com.
